Who Is The Mastermind?

by AW

Don't be fooled. The recent furore surrounding UMNO Penang may not be the sole creation of Ahmad Ismail.

Let's recap events of the past 2 weeks. After the Sin Chew article was first published, Ahmad dissapeared for nearly 2 weeks even though he was required by the police to give a statement. At the meantime, Najib did an unexpectedly kind and heartfelt gesture by publicly apologizing to the Chinese community.

Then all of a sudden, Ahmad burst into the scene with his guns blazing, and with the help of his UMNO Penang committee members, started another round of racist statements and threats. Threats implying another May-13 outcome have been mentioned several times. Even Khir Toyo has jumped on the bandwagon with his recent posting on his blog.

The big questions are: Is Ahmad given intruction by a higher authority to act in such a way? Is this another desperate attempt to press for the resignation of Abdullah Ahmad Badawi? Is there a conspiracy to implement a state of emergency should Pakatan Rakyat form the new goverment? And if so, who is the mastermind behind all these?

After the riots of May-13 1969, Tunku Abdul Rahman resigned. And his replacement was a certain prime minister by the name of Razak. Is history about to repeat itself?

i felt generally malaysian democracy politics is at infancy. after 50 yrs of indepence we're still having the chinese, malay and indian mentality. and all these after reading the mainstream media, i sense that its created by the UMNO themselves. in actual fact, we chinese did not bring about this racial tension. they're wallowing in self pity especially in their political ceramahs and how they lost in the GE 2008.

why cant BN admit yes that they lost most of the mandate of the people and move and strive to win back the people in next election

Typical of UMNO. With a raised ‘keris’ in one hand, the other hand is stealing everything of worth from Malays and Malaysians.

From Malaysia Today:
Ask the Malays in the opposition to come out in defence of their non-Malay brothers and sisters and warn the Umno Malays, in no uncertain terms, that they take to the streets at the risk of facing fellow Malays from the opposition who will defend their non-Malay brethren to the last drop of their blood.

"I, for one, am ready to stand by my Chinese and Indian comrades. So let Umno be warned."

Don't fall to their RACIST trap. They want the chinese to make noise and they can have the ultimate opportunity to create another 513. So, why bother to even talk about it? Relax and enjoy the 916 countdown!

Hidup DSAI!!

can't wait for DSAI to take over from this stupid government!

Well said frens. Let's keep our fingers crossed on PR forming the new govt. Maybe not on 16 Sept, but a later date is fine as long as it is a peaceful process.

Just wondering...how optimistic are you, really, that PR under DSAI will actually take over the BN government on 16th Sept? It's only a few days away, mind you.

Hi Alex! Thanks for dropping by my blog and leaving your comment! About "May 13" - have you read this?

Very optimistic. Barring any dirty tricks by BN, PR taking over could be the earliest by end-Sept, or the latest by next General Elections.

From LKS:
Whether the political transformation takes place in four days’ on 916, or 1016, 1116 or in an early 13th general election is a secondary question to the important fact that the Malaysian political mould has been completely recast and it is only a matter of time that a transition of federal power is effected
